Last night Rob and I went out for a really A-maZing dinner at Colicchio and Sons to celebrate our anniversary. The food was absolutely divine- we had the chef’s tasting menue and wine parings (which have now made me a little fuzzy today)- and what really stood out was how great their service was. The dining room is very large and you’re far enough away from other tables to really feel as though you’re in your own world. And the staff are some of the best in the biz- they even printed a personalized menue saying Happy Anniversary Robert & Mackenzie- and brought us this really special dessert. I would highly reccommend going there for dinner- and if its a special occassion be sure to let them know- they’ll make it even more special.

And on a very personal note, I just wanted to say how much I love you Rob- every day is a fun adventure with you- and I’m so glad you’re my other. It feels like just yesterday we were dancing the night away!

And last, but not least, I wanted to thank all of our good friends who came to help us celebrate and have been with us through our journey. xoxo

I’ve been working on some fun things for an upcomming project and wanted to show a sneak peek of what I made this weekend. What is it about pom poms that just put a smile on your face? I love them!

And, because I didnt share any cute animals on Friday, here’s a sweet shot of Gaston post grooming on Saturday. He now looks like a naked boy- no more scruffy duffy.

I am very excited to get started on sewing some more clothes for my summer wardrobe. I’m even getting started on Fall inspiration too- but one season at a time please!

Today I put together a mood board of all my inspiration- from prints, and shapes to the vintage patterns that I’ll be sewing said wardrobe from. Hopefully this weekend I’ll make some more progress- and I’ll keep you posted if I do.
